On September 17th the University of Hohenheim together with C.A.R.M.E.N. e.V (Centrale Agrar-Rohstoff Marketing- und Energie-Netzwerk e.V), organized an open day at the research station “Unterer Lindenhof” to inform farmers and Industry about possibilities with the crop Miscanthus and potential future business models. Thereby also, the biorefinery technology center with the reactor for conversion of biomass into HMF was presented.
