After scientific harvest has been completed, the remaining miscanthus crop was harvested by testing and demonstrating full scale harvesting machinery, including mobile pellet press Metitron 560. The crop was nice and dry for direct harvest, even some hybrids too dry for pelleting. Pellet quality was remarkable and seems to be a promising harvesting route for some applications.
